Board Members

 I joined the HOI Crappie Club in 2015.  I usually fish tournaments with my wife Kristen.  I was elected President of the club in 2017.  We have grown a lot in the last few years, and I look forward to more growth in the future.

Brent and his dad joined the club when it first started in 2011. He's been the vice-president since 2017. Brent and his dad were the 2015 Crappie USA Champions.

I started the club in 2011 and was the club President until 2015.  The best part is the comradery and teaching moments after the tournament.  The satisfaction comes from seeing all the happy faces an listening to all the chatter about fishing. I’ve meet and fished with some great people. I’m blessed to have such a great group of volunteer leaders. 

I joined the HOI Crappie Club with my husband Chad.  Over the last couple years we have been more involved in helping the club grow and running the tournaments.  Being the only girl for a few seasons I have learned to hold my own!  I truly enjoy the club and all the friendships we have made. 

Hello- I told my wife I was joining the HOI Crappie Club and she was happy for me.  I went and signed up at Presley's and met the greatest people that are now my friends!  The club is fun and laid back but follows the rules.  So I started going to and eventually joined the board.  

I enjoy fishing and joining the club has given me the opportunity to meet other competitive fishermen.

Hi I'm Chuck Taylor, I'm currently a second year trustee for the HOI crappie club. I have chosen to serve my position to be an active and integral part of the growth and success of our club. We have a great bunch of people that work very hard to promote and oversee the commitment to everyone, to have a fair and joyful experience, and I am honored to serve  and help out in any way I can.

I joined HOI to become a better crappie fisherman, and I am glad I did!!! The amount of knowledge that others are willing to share about the  sport is unreal. I have learned enough about crappie fishing to take my friends and family out for an exciting day of fishing.

I have a friend that always says, "you meet some of the best people fishing", and this club is full of those types of people.  

I have been apart of the HOI Crappie club for a few years.  I was appointed a tournament director this year.  HOI Crappie Club is a great club to fish and a great group of people.
